EarBrief
Web app for phone and computer. Add it to your Home Screen. 中文 / English.
Turn your work notes and reports into Chinese or English audio. Listen while you walk, cook or drive.
FROM THE AUTHOR
Why it exists.
Work piles up as text you never get to read twice. EarBrief turns the pieces worth keeping into something worth hearing, so a walk or a kitchen counter becomes a place to think.
How it works
Sign in with your email. Paste one API key from a free AI service (Google Gemini worldwide, SiliconFlow in mainland China). Then paste text or upload a PDF, choose Chinese or English, and lock your phone. The episode is produced in the cloud and appears in your station.
Runs in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows; no app store needed. Your AI key is stored encrypted and used only for your episodes. Free tiers have daily limits, so long episodes are made in parts.
SIDECOURT NOTE
Your work, at walking pace.
EarBrief does not summarise for the sake of it. It edits a document into a spoken piece with the conclusion first, then gets out of the way. We like that it asks nothing of you but a key and a few minutes away from the desk.
Based on the product materials; not a hands-on review.
What’s your take?

After your first episode, did the voice sound like something you would keep listening to?
Make one episode from a real document, then share what worked and what felt off.
This invitation is for feedback, not access to edit the source.
